My client, a Big 4 in practice/consulting, is looking to recruit a Director in their Transfer Pricing (TP) team in either London, Reading, Birmingham, Manchester or Leeds. The team has over 120 people in TP in various UK locations; it has a focus on advisory work for a variety of clients ranging from FTSE 100, to large corporates, private equity and large owner managed business. Your responsibilities will include:
- Shape and articulate solutions to complex technical problems working with the internal team, the client and tax authority stakeholders.
- Prepare high-quality technical deliverables across a broad range of complex transfer pricing issues to a standard ready for Partner review.
- Lead the efficient and successful delivery of technically complex and demanding transfer pricing projects, ensuring technical excellence and a practical / business driven approach, which focuses on creating value for the client.
- Utilise my client's market leading technology and AI-enabled solutions in delivering client services, and contribute to the continued development of these technology solutions.
- Utilise commercial networks and relationships internally and externally and manage resulting flows of opportunities.
- Contribute to the development of junior staff develop through effectively supervising, coaching, and mentoring.
- Lead practice development initiatives, for example, thought leadership, people initiatives, or business development.
To qualify for this role you need to have extensive transfer pricing experience either from practice/consulting or from industry.
