My client, a top 10 practice is looking to recruit a Director to join their Corporate Tax team in Leeds (around 25 people strong). The Corporate Tax Team works across every industry sector with a diverse and interesting range of clients - from entrepreneurial start-ups to large companies. The focus of the role is to provide a mixture of tax advisory and tax compliance services to your client portfolio. Your responsibilities will include:
- Strategic involvement with tax planning and complex tax issues in conjunction with the Leeds Partner group.
- Keep the relevant Partner informed about any new business opportunities arising on existing and new clients.
- Develop/maintain your own network of contacts internally and externally and start to win own work and cross sell.
- Be responsible for the review and delivery for the final advice to clients.
- Respond quickly to, as well as anticipating, client requests/needs, keeping clients informed of progress in relation to all aspects of the service provided, and maintaining regular contact with clients.
- Be responsible for coaching and developing junior members of staff.
