My client, a top 35 practice based in the Cheltenham and Cardiff area, is looking to recruit a Corporate M&A Tax Director and Corporate M&A Tax Manager to join their growing corporate tax practice in either location. The focus of the role is to provide a tax advisory services to a number of clients ranging from owner managed businesses (OWB) up to mid-market private equity clients (up to £200 million turnover) in a variety of sectors. Your responsibilities will include:
- Highlight key tax risks arising and advise on tax warranties and indemnities required and review taxation implications of sale and purchase agreements.
- Co-ordinate, develop and deliver tax due diligence reviews on target businesses and for vendor due diligence assignments.
- Know how to do pre-disposal reviews of the tax aspects of businesses for which sales mandates are held.
- Have a good understanding of corporate and group re-organisations and be able to articulate this to our clients in a clear and concise manner.
