My client, a top 10 practice based in Birmingham, is looking to recruit a Manager to join their Corporate International Tax team. The Corporate International Tax Team works across every industry sector with a diverse and interesting range of clients - from entrepreneurial start-ups to large, global FTSE 100 companies. The focus of the roles is to provide a mixture of tax advisory and tax compliance services to your client portfolio with the support of the team that you will be managing. Your responsibilities will include:
- Experience of providing corporate tax advisory services to a variety of clients
- Ability to manage the successful delivery of commercially viable and technically excellent advice to a variety of clients involving tax due diligence, structuring, international and other advisory work and including liaising with specialists in other tax teams and overseas BDO offices to manage their input
- Ability to prepare proposals for new work, including researching target client companies and on technical issues to identify new solutions
- Experience of managing staff (preferred, not essential)
The successful candidate will have experience in either tax advisory or tax compliance in either practice or industry; experience in managing teams is an advantage but not essentila; in return there are great career opportunities, a great variety of clients and a variety of interesting projects to get involved with.
